Nikash Sahakarya is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to ending the neglect of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). It was registered with the Lalitpur District Administration Office, Government of Nepal, in 2023 and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC), the governing body for NGOs in Nepal.

Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in Nepal

Nikash Sahakarya aims to comprehensively support major NTDs in underserved areas, addressing technical gaps based on guidance from the Government of Nepal. It focuses on integrating and mainstreaming solutions within national health systems, primarily emphasising Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Current priorities include leprosy, filariasis, leishmaniasis, and NTD-related outbreaks such as dengue.
